I have a 36' FT '02 U320, that with the slide retracted I constantly am banging my head on the header of the slide. Sometimes almost knocking myself out. The '03 models are not that interfering with the slide in. Does anyone else find this to be objectionable when using the coach with the slide retracted? I bought the coach last year from Nac. and didn't notice it then. We often stop and spend the night at a truckstop and don't extend the slides. I am 6' tall and wonder about the design of this slide. I haven't heard anyone complain about this is why I wonder if maybe it is just me !! Regards Jim in Las Cruces

Hey Jim,
You ain't the only one sir. I too have a U320 02 40Ft. I am 6'2 or close, but I am getting old and more than likely shrinking. Anyhow, give me a dollar for every time I've smacked my head on that extension overhead and I can have a great beer and brats party. I have learned pretty good to watch out for the TV cab coming up the stairs, but the overhead gets me still. Also, not fond of how close the slide is behind my seat, can't slide the drives chair back as far as I would like. I think the engineer must me a little short fellow.

I have found that Foretravel is quality and craftsmanship. My biggest complaint is, service is hard to find and it gets to be a long way back to the factory with a lot of lost time when you go. I feel that if the new Foretravel is going to survive they will need to change that aspect fast.
