does anybody know how to adjust the armrests of the the drivers and co-pilots chairs? the chairs are flexsteel. my U-280 had the same chairs and I never had a problem, but the armrests on my unicoach are hanging down, and I would like to adjust them so they are parallel to the floor. tightening the 7/16 th nut on the inside of the arm does not seem to have any effect on their position. an e-mail to flexsteel requesting help has fallen on deaf ears.

My Flex steel captains chairs have a lever in the very forward end of the armrest. When I pull up on the lever the arms can be raised or lowered to the point I want. Release the lever and they lock in at that point.

Hi, try this, place the armrest in a vertical position, push hard on the bottom end of the armrest towards the backrest and while you do that at the same time lower it to the vertical lock position. I believe that will work, you will feel the tension on the back end of the armrest as your pushing it in and again go in until it stops.
